Your information

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-14 ยท Operator: Data Network Solutions

This policy explains how information is handled when you use DNETSOL Connect, visit these public pages, or contact a business through a connected website or WhatsApp account.

On this page

1. Who handles your information

DNETSOL Connect is operated by Data Network Solutions. We handle account administration, service security, support and billing information for our own service operations. When a business uses Connect to receive customer conversations and manage its knowledge, that business determines why its customer information is used. We provide the configured service on its behalf, subject to our agreement with that business.

If you message a business, its own privacy notice and instructions also apply. Contact that business first about its use of your conversation or customer records. We can help identify the appropriate contact and assist with requests within our role.

2. Information collected

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or other sensitive information through chat unless the business has explicitly arranged an appropriate process. Knowledge uploads should contain only information the business is authorized to use.

3. How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, separate workspaces, answer business questions, index authorized sources, route conversations to representatives, deliver messages and requested notifications, provide usage and billing records, investigate faults, prevent misuse and meet applicable obligations. The appropriate basis for a particular activity depends on the relationship and purpose, including providing an agreed service, managing legitimate operational or security needs, complying with law, or acting on consent where required.

A business controls its knowledge, enabled connections and staff access. Information submitted in one workspace is not provided as another workspace's knowledge base through the ordinary service.

4. Channels, optional AI and service providers

Local knowledge matching can operate without an external AI connection. If a business enables external AI, the selected question and relevant source passages may be sent to the configured AI provider to generate a response. Enabling AI changes which providers receive that material. It does not mean that every stored file is sent with every question.

WhatsApp messaging uses Meta's services and is subject to its platform terms and data handling. Email providers receive the information needed for configured account messages or business notifications. Hosting and network/security providers process information needed to deliver and protect the service. Optional Google or Microsoft sign-in uses the selected identity provider.

If an invoicing integration is separately enabled, customer and charge details needed for invoice administration may be shared with that system. The planned InvoiceFlow connection is not enabled by these public pages.

Processing locations and transfers: Public website files are hosted by Bluehost. Application and messaging data may also be processed by the providers used for enabled features, including Cloudflare, Meta/WhatsApp, email, identity and optional AI providers. Processing may occur outside Jamaica. The production hosting regions and applicable transfer arrangements are still being confirmed.

Provider services have their own applicable privacy terms. Ask the business or contact us for the providers relevant to your configured service. This policy does not claim that all processing takes place in Jamaica or that provider retention is zero.

5. Cookies and public pages

The public pages supplied in this publication package do not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts or a chat widget. Hosting and network services may still record requests or use necessary security mechanisms. The Connect application uses authentication cookies and security information for signed-in sessions. An embedded widget may keep a visitor session identifier in the visitor's browser. A business adding analytics or other website scripts must describe those separately.

6. Retention, deletion and security

Conversation and knowledge retention: Conversation and knowledge records are retained for the agreed service purposes and remain stored until an authorized deletion process removes them. Archiving preserves records and does not delete them. Automatic time-based deletion is not currently enabled.

Backups: Backup retention currently requires manual administration. Automatic expiry is not configured, and records removed from active storage may remain in retained backups until those backups are retired.

Account, security, support and billing information may need to be retained for the service relationship, legitimate record keeping, dispute handling or applicable legal requirements. The relevant category and reason are considered when handling a deletion request. Archiving a conversation preserves it; archiving does not delete it.

The application provides account authentication, MFA, role checks and workspace access controls. Service credentials are protected separately from ordinary conversation and knowledge records. Application records such as chats and uploaded knowledge are not all encrypted at the application level, and this policy does not make that claim. Storage, backup and infrastructure safeguards depend on the deployed environment. No online service can guarantee that a security incident will never occur.

7. Requests and complaints

Depending on the law and circumstances, you may be entitled to information about processing, access to your personal data, correction, restriction, withdrawal of consent where consent applies, or review of certain automated decisions. Contact the business you messaged or use the contact details below. We may need to confirm your identity and the workspace concerned to protect other people's information.

Connect is a knowledge and communication service. It should not be used as the sole basis for decisions that materially affect an individual. If an automated answer affects you, ask the business for a representative and review.

You may raise a data-protection concern with Jamaica's Office of the Information Commissioner where applicable. You may also have rights through another competent authority depending on your location.

8. Children and changes

Connect business accounts are intended for authorized business users. Businesses serving children must arrange appropriate information, permissions and safeguards before collecting their information. Contact us if you believe information has been submitted through the service without appropriate authority.

This policy may be updated when the service or relevant arrangements change. The effective date will identify the applicable published version. Material changes affecting a business service will be communicated through the appropriate business contact or agreed channel.
