Using the service

Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-10-14 ยท Operator: Data Network Solutions

These terms describe the general conditions for using DNETSOL Connect. Your accepted proposal, order or service agreement defines the service purchased and any agreed support, payment or availability commitments.

1. The service and your agreement

DNETSOL Connect helps businesses provide approved information through website chat and configured WhatsApp connections, manage knowledge, route requests to representatives and review service usage. External AI is optional. Features and channel availability depend on the agreed service, configuration and third-party requirements.

When an authorized person accepts an order or service agreement for a business, that business is responsible for its use of the service and the accounts it authorizes. Visiting a public information page alone does not enroll you in a paid subscription. An express written agreement takes precedence over conflicting general provisions here, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Accounts and access

Provide accurate account details, use individual authorized accounts and keep sign-in and recovery information secure. Use required authentication controls and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. A business is responsible for choosing appropriate administrator and agent permissions and removing access when it is no longer needed.

You must not attempt to access another workspace, share service credentials publicly, bypass security controls or interfere with the availability or operation of the service.

3. Business content and customer information

You retain your rights in your business content. You grant us the permission needed to host, index, retrieve, transmit and otherwise process that content to provide your configured service. You are responsible for having the rights and authority needed to upload documents, import website content and handle customer messages.

Keep published information accurate and suitable for your customers. Do not upload another organization's confidential information without authority. Provide the notices and permissions required for your customer information and channel use. Your service agreement should address the applicable data-processing responsibilities.

4. Answers and representative requests

Responses depend on the content and settings supplied by the business. Local matching and AI-generated answers can be incomplete or incorrect. Review important answers and use a qualified person for professional, legal, financial, medical or other consequential decisions. Connect does not independently authorize a loan, confirm a stock balance, approve a refund or make a binding business commitment unless a separately agreed integration and process expressly provides that function.

A request for a representative is routed to the configured business inbox. Availability, response time and resolution depend on the business and its staff. A queued response or an API-accepted message is not proof of delivery or reading.

5. WhatsApp and other providers

WhatsApp use requires an eligible account, number and permissions under Meta's rules. Coexistence with the WhatsApp Business phone app is subject to availability, eligibility and correct onboarding. Approval, verification or continued access is controlled by the relevant provider.

You must follow applicable provider policies and messaging requirements. Unsupported messaging types, unapproved campaigns or unauthorized use are outside the agreed service. Provider outages, changed requirements or suspended credentials can affect functionality.

6. Charges, usage and invoices

Your accepted quote or order specifies the base subscription, included allowances, billing period, currency, due date and any applicable taxes. For cost-based Connect charges governed by the current pricing rule, the underlying cost receives an 8% service markup, with amounts rounded to currency cents. A quotation or invoice displays the amount payable. An amount already containing the markup is not marked up again.

Monthly statements distinguish recorded charges, AI estimates and separate subscription payment history. Estimates may need reconciliation against supplier records before an invoice is finalized. Currency conversion uses the approved rate recorded for the relevant period where applicable. Taxes, when applicable, are determined separately and are not included in the 8% markup itself.

A usage statement is not a tax invoice or proof of payment. Test, demo and sandbox payment statuses do not represent money received. Creating a statement or linking an invoice does not authorize a card charge. Payment methods and any automatic collection require their own applicable arrangement.

7. Changes, cancellation and service access

Billing changes, cancellation dates, refunds and service-access arrangements follow your accepted order or agreement and applicable law. Contact us before the next billing period if you wish to change or end your service. Do not assume that stopping use automatically cancels an agreed subscription.

Access may be restricted to protect the service, address misuse, respond to a legal requirement or apply agreed payment terms. Where practical and appropriate, the business contact will be notified. Before ending service, arrange the export and retention of information you need.

8. Availability, records and responsibility

Support hours, response targets, backup responsibilities and any service-level commitments must be specified in the service agreement. These public terms do not promise uninterrupted service, instant agent availability or a particular recovery time. Businesses should retain the records and exports required for their operations.

The service should be used within the agreed limits. Responsibility for losses, any contractual limits and dispute procedures should be addressed in the applicable agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Privacy, changes and applicable law

Our Privacy Policy explains the service's handling of information. Businesses may need their own customer notice in addition to that policy.

These terms may be updated for changes to the service or relevant requirements. Material changes affecting an existing service will be communicated through the agreed business channel. The applicable agreement and mandatory law determine how those changes take effect.

Unless an accepted written agreement provides otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, subject to any mandatory rights and applicable jurisdiction requirements. Contact us first so that a service or billing concern can be investigated.
